Pacific Blue Whales
One of the most popular sightings on a LA Whale Watching cruise is the Blue Whale. These mammals are the largest animals known on the planet. Blue whales have been know to grow up 100 feet in length. To keep these large creatures swimming, they eat up to one ton of small crustacean called Krill.
The once endangered Blue Whale has been brought back to healthy levels. At one point in the 1970’s there was estimated to be less than 500 Blue Whales in the World. Start booking a tour to see the Blue Whale before they pass Los Angeles on their migration.
You will usually see great creatures in LA between the month of May and November.
Your knowledgeable tour guides from the famed Aquarium of the Pacific will guide you through daily tours into the grand Pacific ocean.
